Prop Balancer
This is my prop
balancer that I
made from
simple parts. I
used 2 rubber
plugs, a metal
rod and two
metal book ends.
I filed the top
edges of the
book ends to
give good
resolution. It
works really
great.
To check how
much out of
balance the prop
is I use post-it
notes which I stick
on the prop. This
kind of gives me
an idea how much
paint that I need
to apply. When
you think it is in
balance wait until
the paint drys
because after it
drys the paint will
weigh less. Keep
applying small
amounts of paint
until you have
perfect balance
with the paint dry.
