I suited up and put my Solo paramotor on my
back and it all seemed okay. When I hooked in
and ran my engine up it started to have a
pulsing sound. I decided to stop and
investigate. The experimental tuned pipe had
developed a crack. This was not good so I
decided not to fly until the crack is repaired.
Brett managed to get in two long flights during
the afternoon. He flew northwest to Kildare and
back to have a short cross country flight. The
wind was 8 to 10 mph shifting from the west to
the northwest.
At one period we thought the wind was going
to stay down where I could practice inflations
with my trike but the wind came back.
I took some good video of Brett flying so it was
a good afternoon.
